Department of Electronic Engineering on First Campus was established in August, 2005 with four-year college of technology and graduate college program. The department began to offer master-program in industrial research and development during 2008-2013. We established doctoral-program in 2011 and the continuing education program at graduate schools in 2013. The features of our courses such as green energy circuit design, IC design and applications, special achievement based training, railway engineering courses are geared to the most popular international standard in industries. Specialists from industries are also invited as the co-lecturers to join our industrial-academic cooperation courses.

Department of Electronic Engineering on First Campus is continuing to pursue innovative and impactful research in System on Chip (SoC), digital and analog IC design, green energy circuits and systems, intelligent autonomous driving system (ADS), advanced railway electromechanical systems. Our faculty members have been successfully utilizing and integrating technologies of VLSI, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (AIoT), and big data analytics. Our objectives are having the theories and applications to enhance general and humanistic education to devote to personal training in Electronic Engineering, and meet the need of market for the future combination of science and technology universities.
