The Department is committed to cultivating electronic engineering professionals with strong technical knowledge, practical skills, interdisciplinary integration capabilities, and global competitiveness. Through comprehensive academic, career, and employment support, students are well prepared to pursue advanced degrees or enter high-technology industries after graduation.

Our graduates have demonstrated strong academic performance. Each year, at least one-third of graduates are admitted to graduate programs at national universities, including National Taiwan University, National Cheng Kung University, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, National Sun Yat-sen University, and other leading institutions. Through research projects, laboratory training, and faculty mentoring, students develop the research skills needed for master’s and doctoral study.

Career opportunities span semiconductors, IC design, smart electronics, power electronics, green energy, AI, embedded systems, smart manufacturing, healthcare technology, and railway transportation. Alumni have joined major companies and public institutions such as TSMC, MediaTek, UMC, ASE, ASUS, China Steel, the National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology, Taiwan Power Company, Taiwan Railways, Taiwan High Speed Rail, and metro operators.
